Psych-STRATA Holds 5th General Assembly Meeting in Berlin

The Psych-STRATA consortium gathered in Berlin, Germany, on 20–21 April 2026 for its 5th General Assembly Meeting. Partners from across Europe met to review progress, exchange expertise, and plan the next phase of the project. The meeting was hosted by Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin

Reviewing progress across work packages

The meeting opened with an overview of the project’s current status, followed by updates from all work packages. Partners presented recent developments, discussed challenges, and aligned on upcoming deliverables.

These exchanges highlighted the multidisciplinary nature of Psych-STRATA and its commitment to advancing stratified approaches to mental health treatment.

Deep dives into research and innovation

The second day focused on in-depth scientific discussions and thematic workshops. Key presentations included Work Package 1 results, proteomics research, and updates from the Mental Health Board.

Parallel workshops explored genomic analyses, data sharing and protection, and approaches to current challenges. These sessions strengthened collaboration and encouraged cross-disciplinary knowledge exchange.

Shaping the next phase of the project

A key outcome was a clear alignment of priorities for the next six months. Work package teams identified challenges, defined mitigation strategies, and outlined concrete next steps.

The meeting concluded with a scientific presentation at the Charité Psychiatry Department, reinforcing the project’s connection to cutting-edge research and clinical practice.

The General Assembly Meeting strengthened collaboration across the consortium and reaffirmed a shared commitment to improving personalised mental health care across Europe.
