The annual ECNP congress, a pivotal event in the realm of brain disorder science and treatment, took place in the vibrant city of Barcelona between 7-10 October 2023. It served as a cornerstone for advancing research and promoting interdisciplinary communication within the field. Organised by ECNP, the event offered an invaluable platform for expanding the reach of Psych-STRATA and disseminating its significant discoveries to a diverse audience.
Through a synergistic partnership with ECNP, GAMIAN-Europe distributed comprehensive communication materials and provided attendees with the latest updates on the Psych-STRATA Project. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with participants demonstrating a strong interest in enhancing patient engagement and involvement. Additionally, the congress provided a unique opportunity for networking, fostering meaningful collaborations with a broader community of brain and mental health specialists and not only; Psych-STRATA had its second Consortium meeting and the partners had the opportunity to exchange insightful and pave the way forward together.
Anticipation is already building for next year’s congress, where we aim to present further insights from the Psych-STRATA Project, which is focused on introducing personalised paths for early detection and treatment of severe mental health conditions.
